Elion Varek is an embedded systems engineer and human-computer interaction researcher specializing in ambient intelligent timekeeping. With a PhD in Context-Aware IoT Devices from TU Delft and 12 years of R&D experience at smart-home labs across Helsinki, Singapore, and Portland, he has co-designed three open-hardware smart clock platforms adopted by accessibility nonprofits.
